In order to revive this earlier tradition, the Réserve Pierre Ferrand matures first in classic cognac barrels and then in Banyuls wine barrels.
This double aging, also known as 'Rancio Charentais', gives this cognac incomparable aromas of nuts, plums and spices.
Tasting notes:
Colour: antique gold.Nose: fine vanilla, notes of dried rose petals, apricot jam, notes of walnuts, cinnamon, liquorice.
Taste: Full-bodied, balanced, floral, notes of sweet apricots.
Finish: Long lasting.
